Scalyz Connect – BoondManager Plugin
This guide explains how to install, use, and uninstall Scalyz Connect, the integration between Scalyz and BoondManager, designed for recruiters and administrators.
1. About Scalyz
Scalyz is a hands-on skills assessment platform that evaluates technical talent through real-world labs. It enables objective, data-driven hiring decisions by measuring practical competencies rather than theoretical knowledge.
2. About BoondManager
BoondManager is a CRM and business management platform for consulting, staffing, and service companies, covering recruitment, sales, project management, and administration.
3. What Is Scalyz Connect?
Scalyz Connect is a BoondManager plugin that embeds Scalyz assessments directly into recruitment workflows.
It allows recruiters to send labs, track results, and automate assessments without leaving BoondManager—reducing tool switching and administrative overhead.
4- Installation Guide
- In the BoondManager interface, click on your user profile located at the top-right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select the Administration tab at the bottom of the list.
- Navigate to the Apps / Marketplace section.
- In the search bar, enter “Scalyz” to locate the integration plugin in the marketplace.
- Click Install to begin the installation process.
- When prompted, select Enter installation code in the pop-up window.
- Enter the installation token provided on the Scalyz platform.
- To configure plugin permissions, click the designated permissions management button as shown in the screenshot below.
- Select the appropriate access level (exp: Accessible by all managers and resources) based on your organizational requirements.
- Installation is complete.
5- Key Features
Scalyz Connect provides three core features that integrate Scalyz assessments seamlessly into BoondManager recruitment workflows.
1. Send Lab (Manual Assignment)
This feature allows users to manually assign a Scalyz lab to a candidate.
Steps:
- Go to Candidates → select a candidate
- Open the Information tab
- Click the three-cubes icon at the top right.
- Click on Send Lab
➡️ You will be redirected to a configuration page where you can:
- Select the lab to send
- Customize the email header and footer
- Choose the language
- Adjust additional delivery options before sending
2. Show Reports (Assessment Results)
This feature provides visibility into all labs completed by a candidate.
Steps:
- Go to Candidates → select a candidate
- Open the Information tab
- Scroll down to the Reports section
➡️ A detailed table displays all completed labs for the selected candidate, with the ability to:
- Download the standard report
- Download the anonymized report
- Download the advanced report (premium feature)
3. Scalyz Auto Send Lab (Kanban Automation)
This feature enables automatic lab assignment based on candidate pipeline progression.
Steps:
- Open the Candidates Kanban view
- Drag and drop a candidate from “À traiter” → “En cours de process”
➡️ A Scalyz lab is automatically sent to the candidate.
Important notes:
- This automation is executed once per candidate by default
- To reuse it for the same candidate:
- Open the candidate profile
- Go to the Information tab
- Scroll to the Comments section
- Set scalyz-auto-send-lab to false and save
- The lab slug can also be updated in the Comments section if needed
6- Uninstallation
To uninstall the Scalyz Connect plugin, ensure you have the required administrative permissions.
Steps:
- Navigate to Administration → Apps / Marketplace → Apps
- Select Scalyz from the list of installed applications
- Click Uninstall and confirm the action
➡️ The plugin will be removed from BoondManager. Only users with appropriate administrative permissions are authorized to perform this operation.
